The Food & Beverage team at the 5* Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh (part of Rocco Forte Hotels) got in contact with us because they wanted to change their breakfast room equipment.
They wanted to swap the traditional clothed buffet tables and chafing dishes for a modern system that could also be easily moved out of the breakfast room when it is needed for a different event.
After a few visits to the hotel to understand their requirements, present the Venta equipment and produce a design, the Balmoral F&B team chose Venta modular buffet equipment for its flexibility, technology, design and finishes.
Venta equipment was chosen as each element is on wheels for easy movement from one event space to another, or can be dismantled and moved or stored in its own trolley system providing ultimate flexibility depending on that day’s operational requirements.
The induction technology incorporated into the glass top table keeps food warm and allows for different sizes and shapes of display dishes to be used.
The ambient/cold tables are height adjustable and combined with the etagere’s (risers) provide different heights for an interesting buffet display.
The frame of the Venta system gives the room an open feel due to the minimalist design, whilst the choice of frame colour and durable compact top panels fit with the room décor.
